Connect Claude to your company knowledge base

Why it matters

Claude is good at writing and reasoning, but it does not know your prices, your lead times, or how your company does things. The connector closes that gap. Claude looks the answer up in your knowledge base while you work, so what it writes follows your rules.

How it works

1. An owner of your Claude workspace adds KnowStack as a custom connector, using the address shown in Settings, then Integrations.
2. Each person enables the connector in Claude and signs in to KnowStack once, choosing which knowledge bases to share.
3. Ask Claude in plain language. It searches your knowledge base, reads the matching sections in full, and answers from them.

What the knowledge base does

Access is read-only and follows each person's permissions. If someone loses access to a knowledge base in KnowStack, it disappears from their Claude connection too.

How one team uses it

An advertising production company runs its client intake through Claude with the KnowStack connector. A request arrives by email or chat, in the client's own words. Claude reads the company's knowledge base and turns the request into a standard brief, with the fields the office needs for quoting and production. The brief has the same structure every time, whoever took the request.

Questions

Does this work with other AI assistants?

The connector is built and tested for Claude. Other assistants are not supported.

Can Claude change my knowledge base?

No. The connection is read-only. Claude cannot edit, delete, or reach anything outside the knowledge bases a person chose to share.
