A website chat that answers from your knowledge base
Add one line of code and visitors get answers from your own knowledge base, at any hour. When it has no answer, it says so and asks for an email.
KnowStack website chat answers visitors from the knowledge bases you choose. It does not guess: when the knowledge base has no answer, it tells the visitor and asks where to reach them. That contact lands in Leads with the question attached.
Why it matters
Most website chatbots need scripts, flows, and upkeep. This one needs a knowledge base. Whatever your knowledge base covers, the chat can answer, and editing the knowledge base changes the answers.
How it works
- Build or generate a knowledge base and choose which parts the chat may read.
- Paste one line of code before the closing body tag of your site.
- Read the conversations, take one over when you want to, and follow up on leads.
What the knowledge base does
Every answer comes from the sections you allowed. Questions the knowledge base could not answer are listed in Insights, so you know what to add next.
What a visitor sees
The visitor asks a question and gets an answer straight away. If the knowledge base does not cover it, a card in the chat asks for an email, and the visitor can skip it. There is no form before the chat starts.

Questions
Does someone need to approve each reply?
No. Website chat replies on its own, using only the knowledge you allowed it to read. A teammate can take over any conversation and reply in the same chat window.
What happens when it cannot answer?
It says so, sends the message you wrote for that case, and offers the visitor a way to leave an email. The question is saved so you can add the answer to your knowledge base.
