Tracking Activity
The Activity Stream provides a comprehensive audit log of everything happening in your workspace. It tracks who did what, when, giving you full visibility into your team's actions.
Accessing the Activity Stream
The Activity Stream is available from the dashboard navigation for users with the 'View Activity Stream' permission. Go to Settings, then look for the Activity Stream link, or access it directly via the sidebar on desktop.
What Gets Tracked
The Activity Stream records events across all features:
- Data Collection -- Website crawls started/completed, email fetches, document uploads, Telegram/Slack fetches
- Content Generation -- KB generation started/completed/failed
- Knowledge Base -- Sections created, edited, deleted, access permissions changed
- Team -- Members invited, joined, removed, roles changed
- Billing -- Plan changes, trial started, payments processed
- Support -- Tickets created, replied to, resolved
Filtering the Activity Stream
Click the 'Filters' button to open the filter panel. You can filter by:
- Date Range -- Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or a custom date range
- Actor -- Filter by a specific team member to see their activity
- Category -- Filter by activity type (Data Collection, KB, Team, etc.)
Activity data is retained for 120 days. Older events are automatically cleaned up to keep the stream manageable.
