Understanding Navigation

KnowStack's interface adapts to your screen size. Here is how navigation works on different devices.

Desktop & Tablet

On larger screens, use the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner to open the sidebar. The sidebar shows all available navigation links, a theme toggle (light/dark mode), and a link to Settings. If your plan supports it, you will also see your current plan and AI usage summary at the bottom of the sidebar.

Mobile (Phone)

On phones, the sidebar is replaced by a bottom navigation bar with five tabs: Data Collection, Content Generation, Knowledge Base, Automation, and a More menu. Tap 'More' to access Settings, Support, Activity Stream, and other options via a slide-up sheet.

Dashboard Header

At the top of every dashboard page, you will find the header bar with:

  • Hamburger menu (tablet/desktop) -- Opens the sidebar navigation
  • Company logo and name -- Click to return to the dashboard home
  • Notification bell -- Shows unread notifications with a badge count. Click to open the notification center.
  • User avatar -- Shows your profile picture or initials

Dark Mode

KnowStack supports both light and dark themes. Toggle between them using the Dark Mode switch in the sidebar. Your preference is saved and applies across all pages.
