AI Search

AI Search lets you ask natural-language questions about your Knowledge Base and get AI-generated answers. Instead of manually browsing through sections, just ask a question and the AI finds the relevant information for you.

How to Use AI Search

  1. Open your Knowledge Base on the Knowledge Base page.
  2. Locate the search bar (look for the search input field with a search icon).
  3. Type your question in plain language. For example: 'What is our return policy?' or 'How do we handle customer complaints?'
  4. Click the search button or press Enter.
  5. The AI will analyze your KB content and generate a comprehensive answer, citing specific sections where it found the information.

Search Results

Search results appear in a modal showing the AI's answer. The answer is generated in real time by analyzing the content of your Knowledge Base. It includes references to the relevant sections so you can verify the information and read the full context.

AI Search uses your AI usage balance. Each search costs a small amount based on the size of your KB. The Starter plan allows 3 AI searches per day. Professional and above have unlimited searches.

Tips for Better Search Results

  • Ask specific questions -- 'What is our refund process for enterprise clients?' works better than 'refunds'
  • Use natural language -- Write your question as if you were asking a colleague
  • The AI can only find information that exists in your KB -- if the answer is not in your data, the AI will tell you
  • If results are not satisfactory, try rephrasing your question with different keywords
