Troubleshooting
The invitation email never arrived
- Ask the candidate to check spam and promotions folders
- Verify the email address was typed correctly on the Assign panel
- If the email is definitely wrong, delete the assignment and create a new one with the corrected address
- For internal assignees, the in-app bell notification is also a reliable path to start the test
The candidate ran out of time
If the total time limit expires, the test auto-submits whatever answers were completed. If you want to offer a retake, create a new assignment. Consider increasing the time limit for future assignments if multiple candidates run out of time.
AI grading seems off on a specific question
Open the assignment, review the candidate's answer against the reference, and use the override action to adjust the score and add feedback. If a particular question is consistently graded oddly, consider rewriting the question or its reference answer, then use the updated question for future assignments.
Generation finished but no questions were created
- The selected KB or section may not contain enough content for the requested question count
- Try broadening the section scope or reducing the question count
- Regenerate; occasional transient AI errors are recoverable by retrying
